Late Dr. Tony Don Michael

Senior Cardiologist, Inventor, Educationist, Dr. Don Michael is a member of numerous professional organizations and associations since 1957, in Sri Lanka, Europe including the United Kingdom, and the USA.

He has received many awards including the Vidyajothi award in 1990, American Inventor of the year in 1992 as well as being Honored by the Mayor of Bakersfield. He also served as the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Los Angeles. His list of over 20 inventions include Esophageal Obturator Airway, a Noninvasive Cardiac Electrode, and a HIV resistant kiss of life mask for CPR.

He is also an author and a great speaker in the capacity of a specialist in his field at conferences in USA, Canada, Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
