Recognized Oncologist and Hematologist trained in the United Kingdom as well as the USA after graduation from the University of Ceylon, Medical school in 1970. He serves as a member of many professional associations. He is carrying out extensive research on cancer for educational and scientific purposes. He is a clinical professor of medicine at the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha and is the Medical Director of Alegent Bergen Mercy Cancer Center and Co-Director of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Program.
