Charles Perera, also known as Casca, paints a world with words. As an accomplished poet Mr. Perera delights his readers with beautiful words of wisdom on life, love, death, and being. Furthermore, Mr. Perera’s writing is a tool of education for individuals throughout the world on the current conditions of Sri Lanka.

Mr. Perera’s avid promotion of the arts in Coachella Valley led him to his recognition by different organizations, including a nomination for the title of Poet Laureate for California. He also holds the title of International Poet of Merit Award and is a member of Coachella Valley Art Alliance.
