“Thawa Eka Dawasak”Live in Concert- Sri Lankan Musical Show was organized by Southern California Sri Lankan Cultural and Arts Foundation (SCSLCAF) on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Historic Warner Grand Theater.

The Musical Show attracted over 500 music lovers and well wishers of different nationalities and cultures. The show was held to raise funds for the Buddhist Vihara in San Diego. The SCSLCAF also raised funds for underprivileged children all over the world. The fund ensures every child, is cared for and educated regardless of family’s ability to pay.

There were two experienced and famous artists from Sri Lanka which was the highlight of the show. The voice for all seasons, Mr Keerthi Pasquel and the voice that never withers Mr Anil Bharathi. The show was equally divided into two parts and each artists were given equal opportunity to entertain the audience. The main reason to bring these two artists was the demand for the songs of the 70’s and 80’s. However, their music was loved by all ages and everyone continued to enjoy their golden oldies.

The show didn’t end with only entertainment, SCSLCAF was thankful for their donors generous contributions to support the event. These contributions also helped the organization to improve the education program of children that need help and launching of a new projects to better improve their services.
