Old Joes Association of California organized the 2018 Blue and White Ball on October 20th, 2018 at the beautiful Sheraton Universal Hotel. The event began in true Hollywood style with the Red Carpet experience and with everyone getting their photos taken on step & repeat as well as enjoying the cocktail hour.
The doors opened with the sounds of the Anokia band and people entering to the glamorous banquet hall, after a few minutes the entire room was packed with over four hundred people. There was non stop dancing as the band Dynasty took over when Anokia band members were taking a break.
The President, Mr Roshan Seresinhe addressed the crowd by first saying grace and acknowledging all past old josephian’s to come forward to sing the College Anthem. When Corrine appeared on stage it was time for everyone to tap their feet on the dance floor. The entertainment continued with a special dance performance by Andrea and Christina Karunanayaka.
The Dinner Menu was something most everyone talked about which was absolutely delicious. Kiribath and Seeni Sambol was served to recharge and refresh for the party that was just getting started.
