COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Defence announced on Sunday (27) that the Sri Lanka Army’s Sergeant R.M.S Pushpakumara of 5 Sri Lanka Artillery won the Silver medal in the Asian Cross-Country Running Championship, held recently at Nagaland, India.
The Army men’s team emerged as the overall runners-up in the event while two women competitors emerged as overall women’s runners-up during this competition, the Army sources said.
