International Day of Happiness Hosted by Church of Scientology, Pasadena was a Great Success!!

On Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 many gathered to celebrate Way to Happiness International Day at the Church of Scientology in Pasadena.

The Way to Happiness is helping to reverse this decline and restore integrity and trust to mankind.L. Ron Hubbard authored the 21 precepts of the Way to Happiness to provide a road map for any individual to follow in making choices toward a happier, more decent and fulfilling life.

At the core of this program is this simple booklet with hand to hand distribution. We also provided the booklet transformed into a 2 hour film and the Educator’s Guide which provides a full semester of lesson plans essays and homework assignments. Free of charge. The Way to Happiness is helping to reverse this decline and restore integrity and trust to mankind.

They addressed the issue of a deepening moral crisis in the world and right here in Pasadena. But we don’t just focus on the issue. We also address “What can be done about it? At the root of this crisis is a lack of basic morals and values.

The keynote speaker was please welcome Mr. Nandii Jasentuliyana, Former Deputy Director-General, United Nations, and Director United national Office for Outer Space Affairs. He is also the President of Emeritus, International Institute of Space Law and Policy. Mr.Jasentuliyana gave a well received talk on how we can take responsibility for our planet as well as small contributions we can make at home to help the planet.

Entertainment was conducted by Lal Thilakarathna who is a senior instructor at Sri Lanka Foundation International Performing Arts Center. His work consists of choreographing, dancing, directing, drumming and instructing generations of students. Lal is one of the very few Veterans of Kandyan dance in Sri Lanka and is qualified to perform the “Ves Baduma,” an honor for Kandyan dancers. He has performed at various locations such as the Kennedy Center and the Sydney Opera House.
