In 1965 Hank and Millie Primanti opened Primanti Montessori School of Whittier, serving students ages 2 ½ years to 6 years old in Orange County and LA County. The school was a pioneering Montessori school and became well renowned. It was a legend. Its unique architecture is modeled after a Montessori school in Holland. It was the first school to build mirror rooms (observation rooms) in California which are still rare today.

Oneonta Montessori School is committed to stimulating, educating and preparing our students to be productive, respectable, self sufficient individuals in society. We are determined to inspire a good attitude towards reaching a high standard of academic achievement in a well prepared, well balanced environment.

We offer a wide variety of services starting with early education programs for preschool-kindergarten, junior high programs, after school day care, daycare for infants, all of which are montessori programs. We also offer transportation to public school children for the before and after school programs.
