Indian Artist Sudarshan Pattnaik created the world’s longest sand Buddha statue in Sri Lanka. He was invited by the High Commission of India in Colombo to participate in the 14th International Vesak Day Celebrations organized by Government of Sri Lanka. The reclining 40-foot Buddha Statue at the Diyawanna Vesak Zone. Pattnaik is a internationally acclaimed artist who won the jury prize gold medal at the 10th Moscow Sand Art Championship 2017.
