The elegantly decorated Empire suite at the Holiday Inn, Wembley, set the ambience for the event and guests were serenaded with wonderful music by Denzil, Suresh and the Breeze. The President of the Visakha PPA UK, Dr Kanthi Ravindran, was introduced to address the guests and formally open the dance. In no time the dance floor was packed with enthusiastic and flamboyant dancers of all ages.

This is the second major fund raiser in the annual social calendar of the PPA Visakha UK. Over the years similar events have contributed towards major school projects and the bursary scheme is one of the major beneficiaries. This scheme initially provided financial support for just one pupil and 30 years on we have supported over 200 students through university, selected on both ability and need.
