Thathjith Dance Academy celebrated their 5th year anniversary with “Sadhrama” an almsgiving and dharma sermon program organized by the parents of the students of the academy. The program was created under the motto “A better tomorrow through religious knowledge.”

The event was held at the Sri Rathna Vihara in Anaheim, California on February 18, with the participation of all the students and their families. Venerable Walpola Piyananda Thero, Chief Sangha Nayake of the United States, headed the dharma sermon. Priests of all temples were also invited to join to celebrate this meritorious event. A special discourse was delivered by Venerable Santhavihari Thero and Bikkuni Chandra in English.
