Sri Lanka will replace Dineshkanthan Thangaraja with Nishangan Nadaraja as they gear up to take on Indonesia in the Davis Cup Asia Oceania Group II relegation tie in Sukarta this weekend.
Thangaraja has decided to skip the tie against Indonesia as Sri Lanka hope to record a win with players like Nadaraja, Yasitha de Silva, Harshana Godamanne and Sharmal Dissanayake in the side.
If Sri Lanka intends to remain the top division, they must win against Indonesia during the three-day tie which will take place from July 15.
Sri Lanka’s tie against Indonesia becomes crucial after they failed against Thailand in March.
