Sri Lanka’s LOLC plans US$150mn Singapore listed bonds

Sri Lanka’s LOLC group, which has interests in financial services and hotels, said it was planning to sell 150 million US dollars or 175 million Singapore dollars of medium term bonds.
The bonds will be listed in the Singapore stock exchange, the firm said in a regulatory filing in Colombo.
The firm said Sri Lanka’s central bank had already approved the proposal and it was awaiting the go ahead from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
