Sri Lanka Foundation sponsored the largest Egg Hunt at the Rose Bowl!

Sri Lanka Foundation joined in the fun with the city of Pasadena to sponsor the largest egg hunt in the region and Spring Festival at the historic Rose Bowl on Saturday, March 31st, 2018. Thousands of youthful egg hunters had the chance to scoop up over 80,000 eggs that was available on the stadium’s football field during the free event for girls and boys up to 12 years old. More than 10,000 participants gathered to enjoy the festivities.

The Egg Bowl is sponsored by the City’s Human Services and Recreation Department, Media sponsor is Pasadena Media, which is providing event coverage for broadcast on KPAS, the City’s government cable access television channel, on Channel 3 for Charter subscribers and Channel 99 for AT&T U-verse subscribers and fox 11 television.

Sri Lanka Foundation Performing Arts Center instructors and students performed a dance and drumming item which was enjoyed by many people. In addition to the free Easter Egg hunt, a festival treated visitors to entertainment, food, games and art.
