The staff and the audience at the USC Pacific Asia museum in Pasadena was simply amazed watching our very own Sri Lanka Foundation Performing Arts Center Instructors, Students and Artist perform at their community event on March 11th, 2018.

USC Pacific Asia Museum is one of the four institutions in the United States dedicated exclusively to the arts and culture of Asia and the Pacific Islands. The mission of the museum is to further cultural awareness and understanding through arts.

This past Sunday they opened the museum to the public free of charge and invited the Sri Lanka Foundation Performing Arts center to be a part of the Cultural program. The other attractions for the day was to design and create a model of a garden with artist Gustavo Garcia, to go on a tour of nature in the collection, launch of the new book children’s book “Natsumi” with a special reading by author Susan Lendrith and illustrator Priscilla Burris and followed by a book signing.

It was a fun evening with many activities for the families to enjoy.
