Sri Lanka Foundation Performing Arts Center took part at the Grand Diwali Mela held at the Artesia Park in Artesia, California. Global Peace Foundation and Indian Community of Southern California held this Festival of Lights, with Rath Yatra, Multinational Cultural Program, Rangoli competition, Dandiya Raas, kids games and rides, food and other booths and a free medical camp. Over 3000 people gathered at the park to celebrate the festival of lights. The evening was filled with various colorful Indian and Sri Lankan dance items. Non stop music was provided by Chaminda & Preethisha Walpola.
