We celebrated eleven years of Sri Lanka Foundation at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles in November 2014. The afternoon began to the sounds of the Conch Shell and Magul Bera. Honorable Parasad Kariyawasam Ambassodor of Sri Lanka to the United States, Consul General (Designate) Mr. Malraj De Silva and his wife Mrs. De Silva were the Chief Guests. Fourteen exceptional Sri Lankan expatriates were honored this year from 4 continents. The Crystal Ballroom was filled with over 400 Sri Lankan expatriates from around the world. Ladies were dressed in the most colorful and glitzy saris and dresses and the gentlemen were dressed in smart suites. After a scrumptious lunch the guests enjoyed a fashion show by Serene Lounge. Later they all danced the night away to the music of Colorblind with Tony & Laura.
