The inauguration ceremony of the 19th Annual Scientific Congress of the Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo on August 11.
The President presented awards for Prof. Asiri Gunawardena, Dr Amit Gupta of the Oxford University Hospital, U.K, and Dr. Srinika Gunawardena to felicitate their significant contribution in diagnosing and providing solutions for the disease in children.
Minister of Health,Rajitha Senaratne, nearly 500 members of the Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians including the President of the Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians, Dr. Ramya de Silva, Secretary, Dr. R.M. Surantha Perera participated in this event.
The Endocrine Sciences Conference organized by the South Asian Federation for Endocrine Societies in collaboration with the Endocrine Society of Sri Lanka also inaugurated at the Galadari Hotel in Colombo on August 11 under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.
This Sciences Conference will be held from August 12 to 14 at the Galadari Hotel in Colombo.
Minister of Health, Rajitha Senaratne, Director General of Health Services Dr. Palitha Mahipala, Chairman of the Endocrine Society of Sri Lanka Consultant Dr. Uditha Bulugahapitiya and many others participated in this event.
