The International Conference of Young Scientists 2017 (ICYS 2017) was held from 16th to 22nd of April 2017 in Stutgartt, Germany. Over 300 participants from over 28 counties took part at the conference, and it was the first time Sri Lanka participated as a competitive country. Out of 16 student researches evaluated at the national level, two researches were forwarded to the ICYS – 2017. Fifteen old Rakindu Wickremarathne won Silver for his deposition of air pollutants on pollen grains and occurance of respiration allergies among humans.
