Old Anandians rang in the New Year with Desmond, Anokia and Sherwin Jaya at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. Ananda College Old Boys Association of West Coast, USA (ACOBA-WC, USA) hosted the glamorous Maroons’ Night on December 31st, 2014 at prestigious Richard Nixon Presidential library.
The event was well attended by large group of So Cal Sri Lankans to top the 400+… An effort was taken to accommodate the families with children to celebrate New Year’s dawn in the family gathering. The evening was lighted up with blistering music by renowned artist, Desmond De Silva backed by Southern California’s most famous band, “Anokia”. At given intervals, entertainment was shuffled between Desmond, Anokia, and DJ Sherwin Jaya.
Plenty of delicious food was available with the choice of meat, fish and vegetarian. Non stop music entertained the young and not so young, while pouring unlimited wine. At midnight champagne was served followed by traditional Kiribath, with Lunu Miris & Seeni Sambal.
