The launch of Dr. Nandhi Jasentuliya’s book “Darkness at Daybreak was held at Medspa Deluxe LA in Covina, California on May 27th. The beautiful reception was attended by many Sri Lankan Americans in Los Angeles and the Guest of Honor was H.E. Prasad Kariyawasm, Ambassador for Sri Lanka to USA. Shah Noohu spoke about Nandi’s book “Darkness at Daybreak.” and Wathsala Niranjana reviewed the book in Sinhala.

Dr. Sarath Gunapala was also recognized for his achievements in NASA and for being bestowed with the prestigious ‘Sri Lanka Ranjana’ in Sri Lanka. It is an honor presented to foreigners or non-nationals for ‘distinguished service of highly meritorious nature’ awarded by President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena.
