Jake Senaratne (22 years), a past student of St. Peter’s College left last week to Southport, Manchester to compete in the Mr. World 2016.
Jake took part in his first competition in the Mister Sri Lanka for Mister International 2012, where he won Mister Personality and this was a turning point for him. His modeling career took off from here and he became a familiar face on the runway for all the leading fashion shows – Colombo Fashion Week, Academy of Design, EDB, ODEL and Envoy among others. Colombo Fashion Week conducted a Model search, where Jake won the title of Mr. Catwalk. He also appears in commercials for Mobitel, Max Fairness and Etisalat.
Jake also represented Sri Lanka at the Mister International 2015 where he headed the Missosology Leader Board as the best Physique.
His hobbies are music, playing sports, gyming and cooking. He has 3 dogs and 8 cats. He represented the College in Rugby, Swimming and Basketball. Jake helps keep the students of “Walk with Brian Kerkoven” and right now the contestants of Derana Forever Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Earth, fit through his exercise and diet schedules.
