According to an article on “The Island” titled IUSF Now Finds Present Regime Worse Than Previous Najith Indika with the Inter University Students Federation stated that the present government is worse than the previous regime.
He went on to say that the present government has launched a hunt for student leaders and their relatives. As many as 12 undergraduates were called to the Colombo Crime Division for questioning. “This government is harassing undergraduates and their relatives to stop their struggle to protect free education and suppress those who have opposite political ideologies,” he stated.
