Joint Managing Director of McLarens Hotels, Anura Basnayake said that this is the first time that the 15 year old, world renown group is entering Sri Lanka and it proves the confidence they have in Sri Lanka Tourism. “One reason for them to select our hotels is the strong German occupancy in both our Kandy hotels,” he said.
He said that initially they would operate four therapy rooms and also offer all their modern equipment and therapy to guests in both the 75 roomed hotel Topaz and 24 roomed Tourmaline in Kandy.
