Sunny April weather was perfect for Sri Lanka Foundation’s Family Fun day on a Sunday Garden of Fun. This time around it was held at the Long Beach pike and featured a huge Ferris Wheel, Carousel and Choo Choo train. Kids and families from Long Beach and around Los Angeles came together to enjoy a day full of fun.
Children enjoyed the donut eating contest, mini golf, they had their faces painted, made lanterns at the arts & crafts booth, made ballon animals with Mr. Funn at his magic show, made bubbles with a clown on stilts and yes, a 100foot Obstacle Course/Jumper was there too.
Mr. Rohan Mendis kept the atmosphere alive with music. Cute little kumarayas (princes) and kumaris(princesses) gathered to the stage to show off their talents with moves and songs. Sigithi Kumagaya & Kumari was crowed the cutest was awarded and the most talented kid was given a price too.
