Charitha Dheerasinghe graduates from New York Film Academy.

Chaaritha Dheerasinghe graduated from New York Film Academy with an MFA in Filmmaking this past January. He has completed nine narrative feature films some of which have been screened and awarded at film festivals.Visit Chaaritha’s IMDb page He is currently working as a Unit Still Photographer on film productions and a Director of music videos

Chaaritha is the son of Dharma & Rupa Dheerasinghe. Born and raised in Sri Lanka Chaaritha attended St. Thomas Preparatory School in Colpetty. When he moved to the US with his parents he attended Walter Johnson High School, in Bethesda, Maryland and earned his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Film Theory from the University of Maryland.

He plans to establish himself as a Director of Narrative feature films.
