A special ceremony was organized to celebrate the 70th birthday of former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga at the BMICH yesterday. This event was attended by President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Arjuna Ranathunga and several other distinguished guests.
Well-wishers from across Sri Lanka organized a 10-day series of religious services and charitable activities in various parts of the island from June 26th to July 5th.
