After three days of intense competition upon the waves of Arugam Bay, Sri Lankan Surfer Asanka Waduge was crowned champion of the second edition of Red Bull Ride My Wave Surfing Competition. Coming in close second was also a Sri Lankan K. H. Lasitha Prabath and the third place went to Jordin Griffin of New Zealand.
This surfing competition was hosted by officials from the Association of Surfing Professionals and was run under international surf competition regulations and was held between July 23rd and 25th. 55 domestic and international surfers took on the waves.
