President Maithripala Sirisena declared open the Magampura Ruhunu Museum in Hambantota. In his speech addressing the gathering President Maithripala Sirisena said it is important to consider the agenda of the country than any political agenda. That as countrymen we must decide if we must be united to build our motherland or divided to gain power.

He went on to say how dividing the people of a country for any reason will not be beneficial and only harms the country. The President went on to say how one must support the two major political parties and the other smaller parties to build a country. He said “It is a requirement of a country that people of all faiths and speak in different languages should work together.”
