We SLASSCOM, the Knowledge and Innovation chamber promoting the IT-BPM in Sri Lanka, is partnering with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, and Colombo Stock Exchange to host the Sri Lanka Investment Forum 2021, which is the premier flagship event of its kind in Sri Lanka.

The Investor Forum, which is scheduled from 7-9 June 2021, is expected to attract investment interest from around the world from high-net-worth individuals, private equity firms, and institutional investors. The Chief Guest of the event will be His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka, Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapakse, while other keynotes and guest speakers include the Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Mahinda Rajapakse, Secretaries of key ministries, Governor of the Central Bank, international investors, and business leaders in Sri Lanka.

The 2021 event will be a virtual event considering the current global pandemic.

Target participants:
The primary target participants would be high-net-worth individuals, private equity firms, institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, Development Finance Institutions, large MNCs, and all other types of investors. Anyone having an interest in investing in Sri Lanka is welcome.

SLASSCOM is conducting a separate breakout session focusing on the IT-BPO sector showcasing the “Sri Lanka IT BPO story”, including presentations on Sri Lanka as an IT-BPO destination, the Sri Lankan success stories, as well as key policy and operational initiatives on the IT-BPO sector in Sri Lanka.

The participants will have the opportunity to identify the opportunities in investment in the IT-BPO sector in Sri Lanka and also the chance to network with those who are already taking benefits by investing in Sri Lanka’s IT-BPO sector.
