I became a therapist because I believe that there is healing and growth that comes from giving other’s space to share their life story. In facilitating this process, I will help you process life’s events, discover your strengths and areas to improve, and support you in crossing the bridge to your next level. While I am qualified to work with a range of issues, I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, couples, and families by supporting their development, facilitating their personal autonomy, and helping them navigate through challenging times.
I integrate a variety of therapeutic tools and techniques, while fostering a warm and safe atmosphere. I have special training and competence with mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and identity / developmental issues. I am trained in the evidenced based model-Family Centered Treatment and have been working in the field for approximately 10 years.
When you meet me for the first time, you can expect a warm, open presence. I treat the first few sessions as a “consultation”, meaning that the two of us will have an opportunity to get to know one another before committing to a course of treatment. You will have a strength based experience and will grow in every area of your life.
