Annual Dinner Dance of De Mazenod College OBU, North America

The De Mazenod College OBU (Old Boy’s Union), North America Ltd. is comprised of alumni of De Mazenod College Kandana, Sri Lanka and well-wishers domiciled in the United States and Canada.
The DMC OBU, North America Ltd. is dedicated to developing educational, social, cultural, economical, and moral advancement of all facets of the De Mazenod College community in Sri Lanka.
Faithful and loyal Mazenodians from diverse fields, living in different states rallied together to realize a remarkable initial reunion in December 2008. The 2nd annual OBU reunion is scheduled for December 5th, 2009 (see Sri Lanka Foundation Community Events for further details). Rev. Bro. Bertram Perera, Principal of De Mazenod College, Kandana is invited to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. Damian Jayasuriya who is an ardent old Mazenodian and a pivotal figure in forming this union is also invited as a guest of honor along with his wife, Mrs. Lalitha Jayasuriya, and are expected to be present.
The annual event is the main fundraiser for the association. Many Mazenodians from different age groups and professions are expected to attend. The event will be replete with glamour and dancing. Typical Sri Lankan cuisine will be served at the dinner.
The board members are cordially inviting all Mazenodians and well wishers in the United States & Canada to be present and share golden memories.
